"Surprisingly easy to use"
I mostly use doordash when I’m too lazy to cook, and the app is easy to deal with, which is more than I can say for a lot of delivery apps. Finding restaurants, switching my address, and tracking the driver all usually works without me having to babysit it. I like that it gives updates so I’m not just sitting there wondering where my food disappeared to. I’ve had a couple minor delays, but nothing dramatic. Overall, it’s simple, straightforward, and does what I need without making me think too hard.

"Took way too long tonight"
My food showed up late again tonight, and it looked like the driver had to wait around forever at the restaurant. I even checked my email receipt to make sure I had the timing right, and it was definitely way longer than expected...

"I thought DashPass would save me a lot..."
I thought DashPass would save me a lot more than it does. It helps sometimes, but the way they advertise it makes it seem like your orders are going to be way cheaper, and that hasn’t really been my experience. The fees still pile up fast, so it’s only kind of worth it depending on how often you order

I put in my apartment pin and, not gonna lie, I was a little suspicious it would mess up like most apps do. My entrance usually sends drivers to the wrong side, but the dasher came right to the correct building with no calls or confusion. Food showed up easy and on time, so yeah, 5 stars from me

"That refund situation was a hassle"
I had a few items missing from my order, and when I reached out to support, they only offered me credits instead of an actual refund. The whole thing took way longer than it should have, and the credit didn’t even really cover what was missing. I still use it here and there, but this whole thing was annoying.

I order from DoorDash regularly, and one thing I do appreciate is that the fees are laid out before I actually place the order. Delivery fee, service fee, taxes, tip — it’s all there on the screen, so I’m not getting surprised after the fact.

Some restaurants definitely end up costing more than others, but at least it feels honest. If the total is too high, I can remove something, switch to pickup, or just decide not to order. That seems like the decent way to do it, and I respect that.

I ordered through DoorDash and, i was kind of surprised how accurate the menu was. From what I could tell, the prices, options, and even the add-ons matched the restaurant really well. I’ve had plenty of times where something is off or missing, so it was nice not running into any weird surprises this time.

"Canceling was more annoying than it needed to be"
Tried to cancel right after ordering because I used the wrong address. Simple mistake. The app made it weirdly hard, and by the time I reached someone, they said it was too late.
I got a small refund. Support kept sending the same canned replies. Not terrible, just annoying

I waited way longer than expected for my order, which was already frustrating, and then the driver handed it to me with the bag open and leaking. At that point, the food just didn’t feel safe to eat.

I got a DoorDash promo code that was literally showing in my account, but when I went to check out it either disappeared or suddenly said it wasn’t valid. I contacted support, but the replies felt super copy-pasted and didn’t actually fix anything. This has happened to me more than once now, so I’m starting to feel like the promos are just there to get you to place an order. Am I the only one dealing with this?

I had an issue with my order, and support got back to me faster than I expected. They fixed it without much hassle, so credit where it’s due. Still, whoever runs this should probably make sure these order issues don’t happen in the first place.
